A community organization managing shared funds had no reliable way to show members exactly where money came from, where it went, and who approved each entry. Records lived in spreadsheets that could be edited after the fact, so every financial report was met with the same question: how do we know this is accurate?
Solution
A ledger system where every entry — contribution, expense, correction — is recorded permanently and linked to the entry before it, so the full history of an account can always be reconstructed and verified. Corrections don't overwrite history; they're recorded as their own linked entry, so nothing is ever silently changed.

Experience
Administrators log entries through a straightforward form; members view a running timeline of their organization's activity with running balances that always add up. Every entry shows who recorded it and when, and a dedicated corrections log makes any adjustment fully traceable back to the original entry.

Business Value
- Members can independently verify records instead of taking the treasurer's word for it
- Disputes get resolved by pointing at the timeline, not by re-litigating memory
- Administrators spend less time answering "where did this number come from"
